Cover for the repair or replacement of windscreens and other vehicle glass
Windscreen Insurance provides cover for repair or replacement of windscreens and other vehicle glass in the event that the insured vehicle sustains chipped, cracked, or shattered glass.
Important Notice
This product is available to insurance brokers and intermediaries only.
Cover is provided for an approved technician to attend, inspect and repair or replace the damaged windscreen and/or glass, at a time and location convenient to the insured.
Insured Windscreen events covered
Accidental damage to the insured vehicle’s windscreen and or glass as a result of a sudden and unforeseen event.
The policy does not cover damage caused to:
- Sunroofs
- Panoramic windscreens
- Glass sections of folding or removable roofs
- Interior glass
Limits of indemnity
Cover is generally provided subject to a limit of £300 or £500 any one claim and in the aggregate, however, we are able provide cover for higher limits on request.
